A wheelchair accessible bus is scheduled to run through areas of the county with destinations of Park Rapids and Bemidji on the second and fourth Wednesdays every month. 

From: Park Rapids, Lake Alice, Lake George

To: Bemidji

When: The 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month (excluding holidays)  

You MUST call 218-732-9328 for reservations.
We prefer 2 days in advance.

Hours for calling:

8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Monday - Friday

8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Saturday

There is generally a 3-4 hour layover at the destination, and the bus can take you from point to point once you are there.

Park Rapids City Bus Service

If you need a ride around the city of Park Rapids, this service is for you!

The bus runs within the city limits of Park Rapids.  The city bus is a 15-passenger wheelchair accessible vehicle. Service may be available outside of city limits on an individual basis.  Please call 48 hours in advance for options and rates. 

Rides are available:

Monday - Friday 7:30 AM - 6:45 PM

Saturday 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

A 2-hour notice is needed for initial pick up. 

Dispatch Hours:

Monday -Friday:   8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Saturday: 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM
